Every set is planned before the file touches your nail: length, shape, apex, curve. Bring a reference or bring nothing at all and we'll shape it with you at consultation, then build it properly. One client in the chair at a time, and the price you're quoted is the price you pay.

We take walk-ins and appointments every day except Sunday. Sundays are appointment only — please call or WhatsApp ahead. For anything else, message us on Instagram or WhatsApp with the service and a couple of dates that suit you and we'll lock in a time.

Yes — walk-ins are welcomed every day of the week except Sunday, availability permitting. Sundays are appointment only, so please call or WhatsApp ahead. For anything longer than a manicure or pedicure (extensions, art briefs, the Prestige Birthday Experience) an appointment is strongly recommended so the chair can be blocked off.

Acrylic is fully sculpted. It has the strongest hold and is best for long length and heavy art.
Gel-X uses pre-formed soft-gel tips fitted to your nail and cured; lighter, faster, gentler on removal.
Polygel sits between the two, with the durability of acrylic and the flex of gel. Ideal if your naturals are thin.
If you're unsure, mention it at booking and the studio will steer you at consultation.

A regular manicure runs about 45 minutes, a pedicure closer to an hour. A full extension set (acrylic, Gel-X or Polygel) typically runs 2 to 3 hours depending on length and art. The Prestige Birthday Experience is booked with its own dedicated block.

Every 2 to 3 weeks for extension systems keeps the set looking factory-fresh. 3 to 4 weeks is the outer limit before you'll notice regrowth at the cuticle. Manicures and pedicures are typically re-booked every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the finish.

Message us as early as you can so the chair can be offered to another client. Same-day cancellations may attract a policy fee. The studio's full policy is linked from the Linktree.

Full payment is required before your service begins. We accept Jamaican debit cards, Jamaican cash and Scotia transfers. International cards and foreign currencies are not accepted at this time.

Deposits
Deposits must be sent within 24 hours of booking to secure your appointment.

Female clients only
At this time, our salon provides services exclusively to female clients.

Walk-ins & appointments
Both walk-ins and appointments are available daily. Sundays are appointment only — please call or WhatsApp ahead to confirm availability.

Late arrivals
Arriving 20 minutes late will result in a $1,000 late fee. Arriving 30 minutes late or more will result in appointment cancellation.

Final service time
The final service each day is accepted at 5:30 pm or 6:30 pm, depending on that day's closing hour.

Refunds
Refunds are not provided for any services rendered.

Health & safety
For the hygiene of our salon we do not work over damaged nails, do not provide services when there is fungus or nail infection, and do not work over any other salon's work. Please notify us of any allergies or medical conditions before your appointment — we reserve the right to refuse if necessary.

Photography & video
To protect the privacy of our staff and other clients, please do not photograph or record staff or other clients without their consent. Ensure any videos and pictures you take don't include staff members or other clients' faces.

Tips & gratuity
Tips are optional but always appreciated. They can be added to your total payment or given directly to the technician who did your service.

No children policy
For safety reasons, children are not allowed in the salon.

Personal belongings
The Nail Guru Salon is not responsible for any damage or loss of personal items brought into the salon.

Courtesy
Rude, abusive or disrespectful behaviour toward staff will not be tolerated. Service may be refused.

Theft
Theft or attempted theft will result in immediate refusal of service, a permanent ban from the salon and a report made to the appropriate authorities.
